Singles and solo sailing holidays for 2024
We look forward to being able to welcome you onboard our new boat called ZULU. She is a 49ft Dufour Grande Large, comfortable, spacious and remarkably speedy all things considered (9.5 knots here we come…!).
She offers space and comfort that is in a different league to many older boats. Think gentleman’s club.
We can offer each guest their own 'heads' with a shower and a private double cabin, unless you come as a couple and share a cabin.
We are based in Gouvia marina in Corfu. Last year we spent the summer cruising around the Ionian finding the bays the others tend to miss, and certainly avoiding the charters.
This year we are heading further afield and are offering you the opportunity to explore the Peleponnese and Saronic Gulf and to experience passing through the Corinth canal. In Autumn we will be heading north to Croatia and our final trip will also offer the experience of a night sail back to Erikousa Island and then Corfu.
As we are travelling further afield we have lengthened the holidays to allow for the vagaries of the weather and to tie in with suitable airports for guests arriving and departing.

Corfu to Kefalonia. Tue 26th April - Sat 4th May.
10 days £2190. FULLY BOOKED
Depart from Corfu passing by the Venetian city and Unesco world heritage site of Corfu Town and its ramparts. Experience the turquoise seas of Paxos and Anti-Paxos before the hordes arrive. Hopefully with a fair following wind we will have a pleasant long day sail with the cruising chute up, passing through the Lefkas canal with its swing bridge, arriving in the Ionian anchoring near Preveza. The next few days we will explore the delights or various islands such as Meganisi, Lefkada, and Kefalonia, or we may visit Ithaka or some of the smaller islands, weather depending and also depending on crew preferences. Your trip will end on 4th May in Eufimia on Kefalonia for a short taxi ride to the airport. There will be the option to do a day sightseeing on land, hiring a car if we wish.
Kalamata to the island of Aegina. Mon 13th May - Friday 24th May.
12 days £2630. JUST ONE CABIN REMAINING
You will join the boat half way down the Peloponnese in Kalamata. We will carry on round the coast until we reach the island of Aegina in the Saronic gulf near Athens.
We have never travelled this area before so it will be a bit of a voyage of discovery. The winds can be stronger in this area especially when rounding headlands so we should get some longer sails or possibly more demanding sailing. There appear to be lots of little bays to explore, so expect lots of swimming!
Island of Aegina in the Saronic Gulf, through the Corinth canal and the gulf of Patra to Kefalonia. Tue 4th June - Wed 12th June 9 days £1970 plus supplement for the cost of the canal. ONE CABIN REMAINING
We will spend a couple of days in the Saronic gulf exploring the islands or the coast before we head up to the entrance of the Corinth Canal. At our allocated time we will pass through this amazing structure to arrive in the gulf of Patra.
Heading west we will explore the gulf, mindful of the need to arrive in the Ionian in time. Your trip will end in Eufimia on Kefalonia for a short taxi ride to the airport.
Split and the surrounding islands in Croatia. Wed 9th October - Thurs 17th October. 9 days £1970. FULLY BOOKED
Arriving and departing from Split in Croatia, we will cruise round the neighbouring islands which are all close by, exploring the beautiful historic towns and nature parks.
An easy relaxing week which combines sailing with gastronomy and sightseeing and a chance to chill.
Dubrovnik Croatia to Corfu, Greece. Sat 26th October - Mon 4th November 10 days £2190. JUST ONE CABIN REMAINING
We will spend some time exploring the coast and islands round Dubrovnik in Croatia whilst waiting for a suitable weather window to begin the passage back to Corfu.
This will be an overnight passage of around 26 hours with 4 hour watches overnight, so you will need to have had experience of sailing to take part in this trip.
Should we get back to Greece before the end of the holiday then we will explore the island of Erikousa and its neighbours just north of Corfu and either some of Corfu island or the mainland, depending on time and weather.
It is important that you book a flexible return flight for this holiday as dates could change depending on the weather. The meltemi blows strongly down the Adriatic and for this reason we will need to choose a moment of easier winds and sea state.
