Sailing in "Swallow" with Nicole is a delightful experience. It is ideal for a solo sailor looking for suitable companions to share yacht cruising in a splendid boat in warm Mediterranean waters. I turned up not knowing anyone on board and was immediately made welcome. The company was lovely and it was like sailing with old friends.
"Swallow" is a comfortable, spacious boat, and, with only 4 or 5 on board, there is plenty of space for everyone. There is no fixed agenda to the holiday. It all depends upon the weather, the location and what is agreed among all on board. Usually, there is plenty of sailing in the day's activities, and the crew is at liberty to take part as much or as little as they wish. Swimming and exploring ashore also feature in a normal day. Everyone has a say in the day's programme. It really was a truly individual holiday.
Nicole knows many excellent restaurants, but dining aboard in a quiet bay is a real treat.

I really enjoyed learning to sail and would love to carry it on. It was a brilliant birthday for Clare & I, one that we will continue to laugh at with the memories.

As it was my first time on a singles holiday I felt some trepidation about what to expect along with the usual excitement. This fear soon vanished and I had a fantastic holiday!
Everything was perfect; the mix of rustic locations and beautiful marinas. It was so wonderful anchoring in sparkling bays where we could a swim before breakfast. To top it all off healthy fresh food was prepared by Nicole and guests which was always delicious and welcomed. Skippers Nicole & Derek are a great team and always willing to share their knowledge. One of my favourite holidays and I would definitely recommend it.

The week sailing with Nicole and a small crew was heavenly. Nicole knows the beautiful and unspoilt Turkish coastline really well and is a great host, cook and skipper on Swallow. We were all keen to take turns helming and setting the sails and under her guidance enjoyed a magical week. Can't wait to return next year for another adventure with Nicole and friends.

Boat is well maintained and cared for, clean and spacious with 3 cabins and 2 heads. Had a fabulous week sailing benefiting from Nicole's knowledge of tavernas, marinas and the sailing area. Relaxed and flexible approach contributed to the enjoyment. Remember the swims, sails, great Turkish food and good company. Highly recommended.

An unforgettable week, sailing in azure blue waters, with excellent and welcoming company. For a sailing holiday the yacht, provided almost luxury accommodation. An individual double cabin to myself. A full fridge/freezer and even on board showers.
When I first boarded the yacht and realised that I would be the only crew member who know no one else, I had a moment of apprehension, wondering how I would fit in. I need not have worried, within minutes, Nicole and the other crew members had put me completely at ease. When not sailing we spent time exploring interesting sometimes stunning villages or swimming in crystal clear water, on one occasion taking the tender to snorkel above sunken Byzantine ruins.
Most evenings were just spent relaxing, sitting out on deck chatting with interesting company over a glass of wine. Meals were mostly provided on board, Nicole organising and cooking from fresh local produce. When we visited restaurants the food was local and wholesome, the quirky and interesting nature of some of the restaurants making the experiences ones not to be missed.

As a novice sailor I thoroughly enjoyed my time on board with Nicole. She was very patient with teaching me the basic skills of sailing and I never felt under pressure to do more than I was capable of. I have been away with Nicole twice now, once in Turkey and once in Croatia and it was a joyful and relaxing experience.
Both trips were a lovely combination of visiting old historic towns and mooring in quiet secluded bays just chilling out, leaving me with some lovely memories.

Nicole makes going on holiday easy. She organises everything, even down to the catering and daily itinerary. But if you want to get up and go off to the daily markets to buy fresh fruit and veg and cook, she's delighted if you want to get involved. The same goes for the sailing. I am an experienced sailor and feel quite safe in Nicole's very capable hands. She can sail the boat almost singlehanded so you have the choice to sit and enjoy the stunning remote scenery and soak up the sun or learn to sail and get those muscles working! The clear warm waters of the Med are an invitation to swim at all opportunities and there are many - before breakfast, lunchtime or early evening. Nicole will tailor the itinerary to your wishes - quiet, remote bays to spend the nights, small harbours with quaint restaurants or larger marinas with the opportunity for a bit of night life. You can sail all day or go for a short hop to a pretty medieval town and wander round the streets for an afternoon.
Without doubt these sailing holidays are the best and most relaxing holidays I have ever been on. I've spent the day reading in the warm sun and gazing at stunning and ever changing scenery or I've spent the whole day laughing. You can read all day or sit and chat and laugh. I love the evenings; sometimes it's a meal on board with a bottle of wine or two or sometimes we dress up and go ashore to a local restaurant with wonderful local food. It's an opportunity to meet new people and to learn the basics of sailing or to gain more experience. If you have a logbook, Nicole can sign it off for you towards your RYA qualifications.

Sailing with Singles Sailing Holidays last summer round the North coast of Croatia was a joyful experience. As an older person I was able to relax and enjoy everything, help to crew if I wanted to, no pressure was put on me to do anything so altogether it was an exhilarating and wonderful experience for an amateur older sailor. Mooring at a different place every night, sampling the local cuisine, swimming off the boat in clear waters, and seeing sites on land all added to make it a memorable holiday.
