Just 4 sailing trips this year – book your 2026 adventure now!

Dear All,

Welcome to our 2026 sailing schedule. We are only offering 4 trips this year due to other commitments making the certainty of where we will be on which dates rather tricky.

24th April - 3rd May: The Ionian, Corinth Canal, Saronic Gulf and Athens

24th April - 3rd May - Eufemia on the Island of Kefalonia to Athens or Aegina. 9 days including the Corinth Canal fees - £1950 per person.

We will be heading from Corfu down through the Ionian and through the Corinth Canal to Athens and the Saronic gulf this Spring, so maybe you fancy the amazing experience of passing through the Corinth Canal? It’s very memorable!

We have allowed 9 days for this trip so there will be plenty of time for sightseeing along the way or at the end, depending on how the weather pans out. Last year, we were storm bound for several days in the Ionian (very unusual) which made journeying difficult, so we made the most of being on the quayside. Sadly, we can’t guarantee the weather, but hopefully, by allowing for a longer holiday, we can remain on track and be flexible should we need to be.

Autumn Trips

This Autumn, we will be heading to Croatia for a couple of months to really give us time to explore this fabulous coastline and the islands, which vary so much.

We are currently planning to go to Italy first from the Diapontian Islands, North of Corfu, then work our way up the Italian East Coast to then cross the Adriatic again to enter Croatia, most probably in Dubrovnik, or the island of Vis, wind and waves depending.

We are taking this route to explore new territory and to make the sailing passages shorter for our dog, Beau. There will still be some long days (8 hours sailing minimum on a few days) and we will be on the open sea. This is not a scheduled SSH trip because we are so weather dependent. If you have sailed with us before and can be completely flexible on arrival and departure dates and locations then we are happy to discuss seeing if you can come and join us.

The SSH weeks for the Autumn in Croatia are as follows:

  • 24 Sept - 2nd October Split to Pula via the Kornati Islands – 9 days.  £1,750pp (a leisurely sail).

  • 5th October - 13th October Pula to Dubrovnik – 9 days. £1,750pp (could be some longer days).

  • 16th October - 26th October Dubrovnik and the islands to Corfu and the Diapontian islands – 11 days. £2,200pp (mile builder).

The last trip is a mile builder trip with an overnight passage of about 36 hours, so it is not suitable for beginners or non-sailors. You will be need to be prepared to do an assisted night watch, where you will work alongside Simon or I. We have done this trip before and it is a very different experience to just coastal hopping. Hopefully, we should have the wind behind us which makes for calmer sailing. We will be waiting for the right weather window to do this journey home to Corfu so please be aware that the trip could end up longer, shorter, with more or less time in Croatia - who knows, so again, flexibility is key here!

As such, we recommend that you book a flexi fare for your return journey. Last time we were in Croatia we had strong winds and, as we can all appreciate, the weather patterns these days can be unsettled. We will only undertake a passage like this in calm and settled weather, for all our sakes, Beau included and, of course, the boat.

Good to Know

We are holding our prices for the third year running. You are responsible for booking your own flight. The fuel, marinas/mooring fees and onboard living expenses will be shared between us. The price is per person for a single cabin and ensuite toilet/shower.

If you wish to bring a companion to share a cabin there will be a reduction in the per person price. We have two large double cabins for guests. The length of the trip allows for the first day to be arrivals and settling in and the last day for departures. This gives you 7 clear days sailing per trip on a 9-day trip, for example.

Our boat, Zulu, is a Dufour Grande large 48.5 ft. Solid and well equipped, spacious and comfortable. Our dog, Beau will be on board with us and proved a great hit last year. She is a very accommodating and cuddly Greek sheepdog x golden retriever.

If you can’t come sailing but would love a Corfu holiday

While we are away this Autumn, our house in Corfu is up for rent from 3rd September to 24th October.

The cost is £1800 for 7 nights in September, and £1500 for 7 nights in October (extra days charged pro rata). Please do get in touch if you are interested in taking up this offer.

It would be great if we could welcome you on board with us for one of these trips or for you to stay in our house while we are sailing - your private swimming pool awaits!

Just get in touch with me: nlsbowen@gmail.com for any of these holiday opportunities.

With love to you all and hoping for good sailing weather!

Nicole, Simon and Beau.
